Easter

We had a lot of fun this Easter weekend. On Friday, we spent time coloring easter eggs. Then, we hid them in the front yard and Lucas found all of them!!! He liked finding the eggs and he liked throwing them. So, you can imagine that they didn't last long.

On Saturday, we went to Central City. Lucas was amazed when we walked into Gigi and Papaw's house and all we saw were piles of boxes. He had to go see their new house. He said that he likes the old house better. He'll change his mind. He also went and saw Nana and PopPop. He thought it was hilarious when PopPop tried to put his jeans on.

On Sunday, we got all dressed up and went to church. Lucas stayed quiet all through church. He was so good. We ate dinner at E.O. and Nanny's house. He hasn't eaten hardly anything but candy this weekend. We'll get back on track tomorrow. Too bad Gigi and Nana aren't coming this week. They could help us out with all of the candy.

Snow Day #2

While Lucas was napping this afternoon, Brad decided to build a couple of snowmen. When he was done, he woke Lucas up to see his masterpieces. He had to look fast, because they were melting fast. Lucas got a real kick out of them. After that, they spent the rest of the evening throwing snowballs at each other. I wish that I could have played more. This school thing is getting a little old. It will be over with soon enough.

Let it Snow and Snow and Snow and Snow...

Boy did it snow lastnight and this morning. In places, we have well over a foot of snow. We went out for a little while today. Lucas got all bundled up in his snow suit. He could hardly move in it. He reminds me of Ralphie's brother. At first, he wasn't real sure what to think when he fell down. Once he realized that it was o.k. to get know on you, he loosened up a little. It's just too deep for him to walk in. Instead, he rode on his "boat", aka sled. Then, he helped his Daddy shovel the driveway. Too cute!!!! We may have to go out again later.
