ALL ABOARD!!!

Today, we went to New Haven to ride the Choo-Choo Train. Lucas was really excited about riding it. The train went from New Haven to Boston and back. When we left the station, Lucas looked a little embarrassed, but he relaxed and enjoyed the ride. I thought he was going to go to sleep before we got to Boston. At Boston, we got off the train while they turned the engine around and had a little snack. On the way back, Lucas got his second wind and really wanted to hang his head out the window. The Conductor gave him a hat. He gave him five in return. We'll have to look into the Day out with Thomas or the Polar Express this winter.
Yesterday, Lucas got a boxing bag and inflatable boxing gloves. He beat the devil out of that thing. He drug it all over the back yard and tackled it several times. Anyway, we've had a good weekend as a family. I think Lucas is exhausted, so I hope that means early to bed.

The Backyardigans

This weekend, we went to Paducah to see the Backyardigans Live Tour. Lucas really enjoyed seeing Tyrone, Pablo, Uniqua, Tasha, and Austin in action. They were the Mighty Knights!!! At first, he seemed a little embarrassed, but with time, he loosened up and clapped, danced, and waved his magic wand with the characters. He really liked it. Maybe he's ready for a movie next!!! After the show, we looked at the choo-choo train and went to Patti's to eat. At Patti's, he smelled the flowers and played on the playground. He was worn out, so he slept all the way home (so did Papaw and Brad).

Today, we went to Buzzy's house. It took Lucas a while to warm up, but he had a really good time playing outside with Buzzy. They ran, swung, picked flowers, and ran again!!! Lucas got to see all of Ellie Mae's animals. He liked it in the country. We'll have to go back soon.

Cute

Lucas has recently just started laying on his stomach and watching TV. The other night, he was laying on the bed beside Georgie watching T.V. I just couldn't resist taking a picture.

Lucas has also watched me take Brad's blood pressure enough times that he's interested in doing it too. Who knows, maybe he'll be a doctor someday.
