Today, we went to the Louisville Zoo. This was the most fun we've had at the zoo so far. Lucas was so excited to go see the animals, so we loaded up the wagon, a cooler, and bathing suits and headed to Louisville. He made sure he saw every animal in the zoo. 
The baby giraffe was so cute. The lions were watching him like a hawk. Lucas was all ready to pet the goats, but was terrified of them. 
He was also ready for the lorakeets, but only wanted to look at them. He was so afraid that one would land on him. 
They loved Brad's hat. I'm not sure how much Brad loved them nibbling on his ear. Lucas really loved the elephants and gorillas. 
He also really liked the snakes. 
When we got to the pink "plamingos", Lucas looked at them and said "oh sweet". 
He decided that he wanted to give the splash park a try, but didn't like the water in his face. We ended the day with a ride on the carousel. We all had a really good time and may have to go again later or try another zoo.
