On Sunday, Brad, Lucas, and Papaw went to Lexington to the Barnum and Bailey Circus. I was supposed to go, but just didn't feel up to it. Brad said that Lucas liked it. They had seats on the floor and got to see it all up close. Lucas said that he liked the elephants, the tigers, and the horses. He just didn't understand why there weren't any monkeys. Maybe next time, I'll get to go with them. It did them good to have a guys day out.

We are trying to get a trip together to go to the zoo during Buzzy's fall break. Maybe Lucas can see the monkeys then! He might feel like he's in a family of monkeys by the time we get him home!
Lucas really was stumped that it was a circus and didn't have monkeys.I think he was confused because we act like a bunch of monkeys sometimes,and he's used to that!We will be ready whenever Buzzy and Henry want to go to the zoo.I know we will see lots of monkeys there-even the human kind.
Its a great time to go to the zoo with the weather being cool. We've not been in a couple of years, and maybe it will be decorated for fall or halloween.
