Wow!!! It's so hard to believe that Lucas is turning 4. It seems like yesterday that we were holding him in our arms for the first time. We had his birthday party today at the house. A fun pirate party with family is just the way to start off his 4th year.
He had a lot of help blowing out his candles on his pirate ship cake.
Then he opened presents.
After painting a mask and playing pin the pirate on the treasure chest, they headed outside to hit the pinata.
Even Henry got in on the action.
Then they decorated their pumpkins and played outside.
It was a great day for a birthday party. Lucas loved every gift he received. He'll be busy for a long time learning his new toys and watching his new movies.It's always special when family can celebrate together.

I don't know about you, but I was worn out! My kids definately acted like they came straight from the woods! I hope the mud came out of your carpet. I told Steve that the boys acted like they had never been out of the house before!

The boys were just being boys. I can't even tell there was ever mud on the carpet. There's been worse on this old carpet. They all had a great time and can come back any time. Lucas loves when everyone is here. It was a fun day for them. Can't wait for you guys to come back.
